Biography
Dr. Zhenjiao Yang received her Ph.D. in history from Shandong University and was a government-sponsored visiting scholar at the University of Rhode Island. She is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of Ocean University of China. She is a director of China Association of Marine Affairs and a director of the China Pacific Society. She currently teaches Contemporary Chinese Public Policy and Convention on the law of the sea and safeguarding maritime rights and interests . She has published more than 70 papers in the fields of Marine ecological security, global governance and polar policy. A number of reports have been adopted and approved by the leaders of the central government and ministries.As Principal investigator, Dr. Yang has received more than twenty competitive research grants, including one national grant and six provincial grants.
