Biography:

Xiaoyang Qin is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at Ocean University of China. She earned her Ph.D. in Ethics from Renmin University of China in 2021, where her research focused primarily on normative ethics and the theory of collective responsibility. Following her doctoral studies, she worked as a Research Associate at the Center of Tsinghua Think Tanks, where her research centered on technology ethics and governance. Currently, she continues to explore how cutting-edge technologies can be steered toward societal benefits, integrating insights from political theory and Science and Technology Studies (STS).
